Abstract

Objective: To prepare 99mTc-Ciprofloxacin(CPF), an inflammation tracer, and obtain the information about its biodistribution and scintigraphy in mice model, and assess its feasibility of clinical application. Methods: The stability of 99mTc-CPF, its biodistribution in mice model were studied, and 99mTc-CPF scintigraphy in mice model of inflammation was also performed. Results: The labelling rate of 99mTc-CPF was over 90%. 99mTc-Ciprotech was stable within 6 hours at room temperature. The inflammatory tissue/normal tissue were 3.48, 4.30 and 4.17 at 1, 4, 6 hour after injection respectively. The radioactivity clearance mainly occurred in the liver and kidney, and the clearance from blood was rapid. Conclusion: 99mTc-CPF is a specific and sensitive radiophamiaceutical agent for scintigraphy of inflammatory lesions, and it is easy to prepare.
